Cuba's flagship rum, Havana Club, is present at the 14th Varadero Gourmet International Festival showcasing the versatility of the products in its portfolio that embrace cultural traditions, innovation, mixology and Cuban cuisine.
HC's presence at the event is a new opportunity to break the mold and continue strengthening the ties established by the brand with its clients and collaborators. Havana Club Profundo, Cuban Spiced and Cuban Smoky will be the stars of this fair, which together with the founding rum HC 7 years old are expressions of Cuban culture.Likewise, on this occasion, the spirit 7 Gourmand is expected to be presented to the participants of this meeting, a consumption experience to pamper the senses, as a tribute to Cuban and French cultures, to strengthen alliances, as part of the strong commitment of the brand from the social and environmental point of view.
Also during the event, attendees will be able to experience the flavors of premium products from the Pernod Ricard portfolio recently launched in the Cuban market, such as Crema Ruavieja and Iris Whiskey Jameson Black Barrel.
The joint venture Havana Club International S.A. was created in November 1993 by the company Cuba Ron S.A., responsible for the production of the spirit, and the French group Pernod Ricard, with the aim of developing the brand on an international scale through the solid distribution network of the French entity.
Havana Club emerged as the fastest-growing Pernod Ricard International Strategic Brand (+8% in organic net sales in fiscal year 2024), thanks to the strengthening of the premiumization strategy. It has received 32 medals in 2024, among which the World Rum Awards 2024 stands out, while Havana Club 15 Años has won “Gold Medal” and “Style Winner”. From 1994 to date, Cuban Rum has accumulated a total of 492 medals, which is a clear example of the quality of its products. Havana Club is exported to more than 125 countries around the world (excluding the USA, where Cuban products are prohibited due to the trade embargo) and among its main clients are Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Chile, Canada, Argentina and Mexico.
