Given the response of the 14 participating countries, we can consider the IV International Exhibition for restaurants, hotels and tourist services (HostelCuba 2023) as an essential meeting today for national tourism, said in this capital, Klaire Gracia, manager for Cuba of Fira Barcelona International.
Summarizing the appointment, the board of directors reaffirmed to CubaPlus felt "satisfied" with the large presence of exhibitors from the hotel and food industry, a hundred, much higher than the previous edition, and for the quality of the event, which had not been held for several years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He considered that "a fair is the mirror of the market and those who have and need to participate in it", for which, he insisted, it is necessary to hold them so that it can be known. That which each nation currently produces, in addition to technological innovations and advances. Gracia also meant that the private sector is growing and the fair is conceived so that they can complement themselves with the companies that attend and today they expand more to regions such as those of the largest of the Antilles and the Caribbean in general.
The event, she noted, complies with the parameters established internationally and a sample of this has been the negotiations and contacts made in the three days of the edition, between national, private or state and foreign entities. "We thought that fewer nations would attend, however, the response was much higher than we thought and the participation of exhibitors grew to a hundred, including several from the self-employed sector, that is, small and medium-sized companies," he added.
The Cuban market is very promising and, therefore, its economy and tourism industry, for which I believe in a much better future will attend this type of meeting, revealed the manager for Cuba of Fira Barcelona Internacional.
Organized by Grupo Palco, Pabexpo, Fira Barcelona Internacional and under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), HostelCuba 2023 brought together over three days, from May 23 to 25, a hundred exhibitors from 14 countries, from hotels and restaurants.
