International Health Fairs Conclude in Cuba

The 15th International Health Fair for All and the First Health and Wellness Tourism Fair concluded Thursday, after four intense days of work, in which the participants addressed numerous issues related to this important sector.

The days of both events were characterized by numerous debates related to health topics, which included conferences, presentation of products, services and exchanges about the forms and measures that can be adopted in favor of improving services and the challenges to be faced in difficult times such as the situation caused by the pandemic that has hit the world in the last two years.

Important moments of these meetings were the realization of the first Seminar on Medical Tourism and Well-being, a topic of great relevance, taking into account that many people around the world decide to travel in search of treatments to improve their quality of life, as well as the 2nd Foreign Investment Forum, where business possibilities were offered by the largest of the Antilles seeking to improve the island's health system in favor of its population.

The Closure of the conclaves also served to publicize the winners in various categories, with recognition to the contributions made by institutions, travel agencies, the media and personalities in favor of promoting the health of humanity.

Present at the ceremony were Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice Prime Minister of Cuba, José &Aángel Portal Miranda, Minister of Health and other government officials, as well as representatives of national and foreign businessmen who participated in the fairs.

Both events met in the halls of PABEXPO, parallel to the 4th International Health Convention that will close its doors this Friday 21st in the Havana Convention Center.
