The International Wine Festival returns to Cuba

The 23rd edition of the International Wine Festival will return to the halls of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba from October 2 to 4, organizers announced. This meeting will take place as usual in the Hall 1930 of the emblematic tourist accommodation of this nation, as confirmed by the commercial director of the hotel, Deivid Silva Alfonso.

He specified that foreign entities such as Bodegas Torres, the Freixenet Group, Inversiones Pucara S.A. (IPSA), Destilerías MG Cuba, the Ramón Roqueta winery and Masía Vallformosa (VFMS) confirmed their participation in the meeting, with emphasis on Spanish origins. Also, Iberostruth de Mercado, the Corporación Cuba Ron S.A. and Duprasa (with Bodegas Hueda SL) joined the event, which, together with artisanal wine producers, will present their drinks.

The event will also host local producers Vinos NORY, Suricata's Wine, Boudiag, VC Ivette, Vinos Alejo, Desjoyaux, Bodega Marpe and Rodrigar, with their dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, white, rosé, red, sparkling wines, vermouths, brandies, liqueurs and vinegars.

For the first time in the history of this event, the new players in the Cuban economy that produce and sell artisanal beverages will have a stand in the exhibition hall to show their new products. This year, the Festival will be sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba and will have the advice of the Association of Sommeliers that together with the Organizing Committee will guarantee the exhibition of new products.

This event will open its doors in the Saloon 1930 itself with specialized presentations of new products and master classes. The program also includes conferences, workshops, business meetings and pairings of cigars with wine, exhibitions and the awarding of prizes to the exhibitors at the closing ceremony, scheduled for the hotel's Cabaret Parisien.
