Investing in Cuba is considered a good decision because it is a safe and stable market, the participants of the II Foreign Investment Forum held during the penultimate day of the XV Salud para Todos Trade Fair agreed.
Speaking at this meeting, representatives of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce highlighted the potential of the country in this regard due to the various measures adopted to make companies more efficient, as well as the progress made in the projects of the Mariel Development Zone. and the promotion of the scientific and biotechnological sectors.
For her part, Yamila de Armas, president of the Cuban Medical Services Marketer (CSMC S.A.), explained that the country gives priority to do business with foreign capital in strategic sectors, fundamentally those that allow increasing renewable energy sources, food production, public health and the biopharmaceutical industry.
In turn, the head of the Department of Business and Foreign Investment of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), Alejandro Bello, meant in this sense that the sector focuses its efforts on increasing the capacities of specialized clinics associated with tourism, especially those dedicated to improving the quality of life, with contributions from biotechnology and industry with the aim of achieving the self-sustainability of the health system in Cuba, always for the benefit of the population.
Representatives from more than 40 countries participated in the XV Health for All Trade Fair, which runs parallel to the First International Health and Well-being Fair, and its closing is expected this Thursday afternoon with the announcement of the winners. of the I International FitSaludCuba Award 2022, which will recognize institutions, media, travel agencies and personalities with outstanding contributions in favor of medical and wellness tourism.
