The latest editions of the Cubaplus and Cubaplus Latinos magazines were presented on the day before last of the 29th International Book Fair, before a large audience.During the presentation, the general director of both publications, Dominic Soave, explained their importance for being dedicated to promoting Cuba, mainly in Canada, the first tourist market to the largest of the Antilles.“Cubaplus, edited by Prensa Latina, is already 13 years old, during which the beauties of the Island, its magnificent beaches, its splendid hotels, its spectacular landscapes have been shown on its pages, along with its culture and its exquisite cuisine which make Cuba an unequaled destination”, he said.For its part, Mercedes Ramos, Permanent Correspondent of both publications in Cuba, offered an overview of the most recent issues published and mentioned the last editions of the year were especially dedicated to Havana and its 500th foundation anniversary.The 29th International Book Fair of Havana, which closes on Sunday 16, in the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, is the most important festival of the letters of the country, which began to be held in 1982, with a biennial cycle. From the Year 2000, it takes place annually and will continue its tour of the main cities of the nation until next April.This presentation was made thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Periodic Publications of the Cuban Book Institute, the main organizing entity of the fair.
