Meliá announces the start of operations of its hotels in the northern cayería and Varadero.

Melí hotels in the resort of Varadero:  Melí Peninsula Varadero and Paradisus Varadero will start operations on the 15th, after repairs and improvements. In a press release issued by the chain, it is explained that these hotels were damaged by the recent hurricane Irma, which sought the efforts of the country's tourism authorities and workers in general to recover the affected facilities.  On Cayo Santa Maria, Melí Cayo Santa María and the Melí Las Dunas hotel will reopen on November 1; and the Melí Buenavista and Sol Cayo Santa María will reopen on November 15. Meanwhile, in Jardines del Rey, the Sol Cayo Coco Hotel will reopen on October 17th; Melí Cayo Guillermo will begin with the operation on October 20; and Melí Jardines del Rey will reopen on November 1st. Melí Cayo Coco will be operational on November 4 and Sol Cayo Guillermo will again offer service to customers on November 15.  Melí Hoteles International Cuba appreciates this collective effort, as well as the loyalty and support of its clients, travel agents and tour operators
