Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, visited the stand of Taina Group (Canada) in the 36th edition of the Havana International Trade Fair (FIHAV) 2018, which closed its doors after five days of activity.
During his stay in the stand, the Cuban official was interested in the work done by that Canadian group, formed by Taina Riso Sales and Taina Communications. The first company markets its products in Cuba, while the second is the editorial house of magazines Cuba plus and Cuba plus Latinos, written and designed with the collaboration of Prensa Latina. They have promoted destination Cuba in Canada, the United States and Latin America for 12 years.
Malmierca received the last edition of both publications dedicated to FIHAV and to Havana, dedicatdd to the 500th anniversary of the foundation of the Cuban capital and praised the quality of both publications.
Cuba plus is edited in English every three months and includes in its pages stories about tourism, culture, health, sports, cuisine and traditions of the greater of the Antilles, with the purpose that visitors of Canada, first emitter of tourists to the island, know the reality of Cuba and its people.
Cuba plus Latinos, is edited in Spanish, also quarterly, to promote destination Cuba in Latin America, especially in the Dominican Republic and Panama, where there is a representation of that publication.
The Taina Group also commercializes cleaning equipment, musical instruments of brand Sabian, mobile stages, printing machines of flexible cards, fitness equipment, as well as furniture for terraces and gardens, among others.
The 36th Havana International Fair was held from October 29 to November 2 with the participation of some three thousand exhibitors from 65 countries.
