The pets will accompany their owners, since Villa Tortuga hotel, Varadero will be the first "pet-friendly" accommodation that the Cuba destination will have, belonging to the Gran Caribe group.
In recent statements by Diana Beatriz Olivera Rodríguez, commercial vice president of that group in TTC (TravelTradeCaribbean) during the 43rd edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), she said that Gran Caribe will open the first "pet-friendly" hotel facility on the island.
She meant that the facility will be ideal for those travelers who want to vacation with their pets. He later announced that at the end of the winter season there will be the launching of a club for young people over 21 years of age, at the Kawama hotel, also in the main sun and beach destination in the largest of the Antilles, directed specifically to this segment, with services both within and outside the hotel.
Also during the recently concluded FITUR -January 18 to 22- this hotel group signed an agreement with Segittur Spain to transform Cayo Largo del Sur into the first Smart Tourist Destination in Cuba and the Caribbean.
Pet-friendly establishments are places that allow visitors to bring their pets without being prohibited from entering and many have adapted their business concept to provide spaces for animals to live with their owners while on vacation.
