The PHOTOSUB underwater photography contest that takes place every year in the southern Cuban city of Cienfuegos is carried out digitally this time, which aims to contribute to the social isolation required by the current situation due to the new coronavirus.  Sources of the Organizing Committee indicated this decision responds to the interest that all divers remain at home, given the current pandemic situation, while not losing the link with the sea.  This year there will be only three categories: Macro, Underwater Environment and Action Camera, and each participant will be able to send two photos, in the referred sections or in one of them.  Likewise, macro and supermacro images will be admitted, with or without models, sections that the contest has usually considered.  Admission closes on May 15 and the winning images will be announced on the 25th on the official Facebook page of the event.  It is important to keep in mind that the contest rules require the exclusivity of images and the intellectual copyright of their author.   The contest is sponsored by the Faro de Luna International Diving Center, the company Marinas y Náuticas, Marlin S. A. and the specialized agency American and Canadian Underwater Certifications (ACUC).  Images must be sent to the following email address: acuc_fotosub_online @ yahoo.com, in JPG format with the relevant technical details: camera model, aperture, exposure time, ISO sensitivity and a review of the time of capture.
