The Portuguese hotel group Vila Galé will begin operating its first hotel next October in Cuba, Cayo Paredón Grande, in Jardines del Rey, north of the province of Ciego de Avila.

Information, released by the group, adds that they also hope to open another accommodation in Havana soon, as part of an expansion plan for the entity. The Vila Galé Cayo Paredón Hotel, which will begin to be called that way, has 638 rooms, of which 620 are standard, 16 standard deluxe and two suites, five bars, swimming pools for children and adults, spa, spaces for the youngest, meeting rooms, center nautical and sports courts.

With a Five Star category, its seven restaurants will offer gastronomic services for all tastes and the five bars will sell Cuban and international cocktails. The Portuguese group has more than 40 hotels in Portugal and Brazil and is the largest operator of resorts in its country.

According to recent statements by Gonçalo Rebelo de Almeida, manager of the chain, this year they are celebrating 35 years since the opening of the first hotel in Praia da Galé, which was what gave rise to the name of the Vila Galé Group.
