The National Tourist Transport Company (TRANSTUR) has just made available to its clients a new service that offers the possibility of connecting the José Martí International Airport with the main hotels in the capital through bus routes.
The Airport Shuttle constitutes an efficient connection between that air terminal and the main hotels in the city with three different bus routes that connect it with the main hotels in Old Havana, Vedado and Miramar.
Route 1 connects the airport with Vedado hotels: Habana Libre, Capri, Nacional, Vedado, Colina, Presidente, Grand Aston and Cohíba/Riviera to return to your starting point from the latter.
In turn, the second route links the Miramar accommodations: Copacabana, Panorama, Melí Habana, 3rd and 82 and finally, Memories Miramar, while the third connection includes facilities in Old Havana: the Armadores de Santander hotel, the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, Hostal O'Farrill, Hotel Packard Paseo del Prado to finish in the Central Park and return to their place of origin.
According to Transtur executives, the service, which is expected to be extended to other cities in the country soon, is available 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday and payment, with very affordable rates for all pockets, is made through various electronic platforms, such as: the EnZona application, and by magnetic card of those admitted in the country.
The ticket to enjoy this service can be reserved by the client in advance through the Travel Agencies sales network, purchased at the Transtur office at the airport itself or on board the bus.
