Silvio Rodríguez's tour thru Cuban's neighborhood will land in headquarter of Classic Music in Havana: the Church of San Francisco de Asis, at Old Havana...This will be the 84th concert of this kind, always with a social purpouse. This time he shows his support to the campaigns of the Cuban Public Health Ministry for prevention of sicknesses.
Rodriguez will be musically accompanied by group FRASIS, Niurka Gonzalez (Flute and Clarinet), Jorge Reyes (Bass), Oliver Valdes (Drums and Percussion) and Trio Tovarroco, Back in 2010, the author of generational anthem Ojala started a tour on zones of the city of Havana and other Cuban provinces, aiming to take his songs and the art of others to the places where it is most needed.This project gave Rodriguez the recent CUBADISCO Award of Honor, granted by the Cuban Music Institute. The previous stop of this "Gira por Los Barrios" tour was at San Miguel del Padron last month, with Cuban group Interactivo as a guest.
