The largest number of vacationers that has arrived in Cuba on a flight through the Russian company Rosneft took place this Monday, when the airline “Nordwind Airlines” N- 46101 arrived at the Juan Gualberto Gómez international airport in Matanzas with 407 passengers, which confirms the level of market satisfaction with the offer, the quality of the service and Cuba as a destination for vacationing in the Caribbean. 
This group is the last of the autumn-winter 2024 season of this entity that for two weeks will develop a program associated with health and quality of life in the Varadero resort.
Varadero, the island's main sun and beach destination, has established itself within the Russian market as the ideal destination for developing programs geared toward the concept of enjoying outdoor physical activities, excursions and others related to well-being and quality of life and, at the same time, related to environmental conservation.
Havanatur, with experience in this type of tourism after ten years of operations with Rosneft, has received, so far this year, 7 groups for a total of 2,698 passengers, a figure higher than in previous years. For next year, the company intends to increase the number of vacationers in both seasons due to the level of satisfaction shown by visitors and the growing interest that Cuba is regaining as a vacation destination according to surveys.
