After opening this resort on November 2, the Boulevard, with numerous food, commercial and cultural services, is opting to become the most important recreational center of this famous tourist destination.
Loved by tourists from several nations and Cubans, the Boulevard is run by the Palmares extra-hotel group and is one of the most important investments for the International Tourism Fair of Cuba (FITCuba 2020), scheduled for May, 2021 in this city.
During a meeting with journalists, Palmares executives explained that the boulevard is located on the 62nd, 63rd, and 64th streets, covering seven hectares, with interior passages, and more than fifty sites for recreational and tourist purposes, in an area that was not much visited before.
Boulevard Manager Yanim Villareal pointed out that biosecurity measures set up by the ministries of Tourism and Public Health have been adopted to preserve the health of customers and workers in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
She highlighted, among the most liked options despite being recently opened, that the restaurants that serve dishes from Russian and Asian cuisines, the light meal network, as well as offers and activities for children with performances by clowns, stimulate family's visit.
'Flavors from my city' was an event attended by chefs who took place recently to stimulate offers, where all Palmares divisions in the Matanzas branch participated. It received the support of the local Culinary Association, Villareal said.
Joaquin Mock, director of the Palmares branch in Matanzas, noted the renewal of the light food network, 'and carrying out important changes such as linking our services to the territory's productions, as a step to develop this industry and link the sector to producers.'
