TITOVERSE, recognized as the most complete transmedia project today, will hit the theater in 2024 and will later go on an international tour with the well-known actor, director, playwright and producer, Jazz Vilá.
According to a press release released in the Cuban capital, the staging is quite a challenge to bring the magic of the all-star series from ICAIC Animation Studios to the theater.
To do this, he adds, it will have five of the most recurring characters in the audiovisual, now with a deeper meaning, from the philosophical and psychological, in a humorous tone and with universal themes such as love, fear, faith in oneself, inclusion, among others.
It is important to clarify that it will not be a children's work, although its development will allow it to be enjoyed by adults and children, as the animated series that will also premiere next year promises to do. The scripts have been written in Spanish and English, by Vilá and Daniel Martín Subiaut, creator of the project, with the aim of achieving a greater reach in its tour of English-speaking cities.
Vilá is recognized for his works: Candela, Farándula, Eclipse and Rascacielos, among others, which have set audience records and excellent reviews, making him a benchmark on the contemporary Cuban scene for a decade, as Martín president of the Latino Institute of Music holds the Benito Juárez medal for his contribution to the arts and several Honoris Causa Doctorates in Mexico.
The TITOVERSE transmedia project has generated impact and interest in the Caribbean, American, European and Asian media.
