Turkish Minister visits Cuban stand in fair of tourism
Turkey’s Minister of Tourism and Culture, Numan Kurtulmus, visited the Cuban stand in the International Tourism Fair and Oriental Mediterranean Trips (Emitt), informed diplomatic sources to Latin Press.
During the opening day of the international fair’s 22th edition, Kurtulmus talked with the Cuban ambassador in Turkey, Luis A. Amoros Núñez, and with Mercedes Abreu, general director of Cubanacán tourism group, one of the main tourist receiving agencies from Cuba.
The minister highlighted his support to continue developing the relationships between both countries in this strategic sector.
The Cuban delegation presents in the event it is also integrated by representatives of the Cuba Ron Corporation, Alpitour World, Blue Diamond and the trip agency Global Services.
As far as he’s concerned, the Cuban ambassador stood out the exponential growth of Turkish tourists who visit Cuba reaching the figure of 19 thousand visitors in 2017, as well as the favorable context to encourage this activity and also the Turkish investment in Cuba’s tourist sector.
During the day, Cubanacán trips’ president carries out a special presentation of the Cuban tourist destination to the travel agents and other participants in the Fair, chance that was made pleasant by the Cuban musician Pepe Lopez with songs of Caribbean flavor that encouraged to dance to the guests.
