The 13th edition of the Turnat Tourism and Nature Event will be held from September 20 to 24 in the western region of Cuba, as announced on Friday by the ECOTUR Travel Agency, organizer of the meeting.
The information, disclosed on the Good Trip to Cuba website, indicates that this long-awaited meeting, initially to be held last year, was postponed due to the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19, and will now include emblematic places in Pinar del Rio, Havana, Artemisa, Mayabeque and the Isle of Youth.
Multiple activities will take place during the 5 days of the event, including master conferences, trade fairs, peasant parties, excursions of different types such as hiking, horseback riding, adventures and air sports, motorcycle-buggy, mountain biking, bird watching, sport fishing, diving , kayaking, nautical, visits to farms and accessible tourism.
Among the places to visit are the Viñales Valley -declared by UNESCO Cultural Landscape of Humanity in 1999, Soroa, the Las Terrazas community, the María La Gorda International Diving Center, the Levisa and Jutias keys and the Botanical Garden of Havana, among others.
The event, also organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the group Viajes Cuba, has as its main objective `to promote Cuba as a destination of nature, adventure and rurality.
