The Varadero Golf Club is set to host four exclusive golf tournaments this year, organized by the Spanish hotel group Meliá. The announcement was shared via the official social media channels of the Ministry of Tourism’s (Mintur) Information Center.
The season kicks off with the Meliá Las Américas Golf Cup, scheduled for May 20–23, featuring four days of friendly competition. This will be followed by two editions of the Meliá Las Américas Golf Weeks, with the first session running from June 17–24 and the second from September 16–23.
The calendar concludes on a high note with the Meliá Cuba Golf Cup, taking place from October 14–17 as the season’s grand finale.
As Cuba’s only 18-hole, par-72 course, the Varadero Golf Club is spectacularly situated alongside the ocean at the historic Xanadú Mansion. The club offers professional-grade facilities, services, and equipment. Additionally, for those looking to take up the sport, the club provides specialized lessons and golf packages for beginners.
