Directors of the 3rd edition of the Varadero Josone Festival, scheduled to take place from August 21 to 27 in Cuba's main beach resort announced on Monday its wide musical, recreational and environmental program.
At a press conference, its president, the musician and creator of the event Issac Delgado referred to the Josone park’s attribute as a lung for that natural environment, which in addition to hosting the musical event, plays a leading role in the preservation of nature.
Delgado spoke about the beginnings of this festival which main aim was giving room to different musical genres.
Varadero Josone Rumba, Jazz & Son is considered one of the foremost-attended festivals because of the greatest cultural impact in Cuba’s main tourist destination, and will feature over six groups daily on the stages set up inside the park.
