The Varadero Josone Festival returns in August to the delight of the public

The best of Cuban popular music will be heard and experienced again from next August 18 to 25 in Varadero and Matanzas, respectively, with the well-known and anticipated Festival Varadero Josone: Jazz and Rumba. They are for the pleasure of residents and visitors.

As the organizers recently announced, this important meeting will feature what is most valuable and shining in Cuban music, some of them have already confirmed their participation, among them, of course, the president of the Festival, Isaac Delgado and his group ¨Con Tumbao¨.

Also in this 5th edition, the group Síntesis will offer their art to viewers, headed by Carlos Alfonso, cultivator of ethnic fusion music. Maykel Blanco and his Salsa Mayor, artists very loved and admired by the public, will be in the planned program, as well as Alain Pérez and his orchestra, well known in the largest of the Antilles, Spain and the United States, above all.

Of course, the emblematic Los Van Van orchestra, 55 years old, cannot miss this event, created by the famous, now deceased musician, Juan Formel, considered one of the most influential figures on the musical scene of the largest of the Antilles. Likewise, the public attending the festival will be able to enjoy the performance of Real Project, considered the most avant-garde jazz band in Cuba; Raúl Paz, extremely well known in the island and abroad, and Wampi, a young talent cultivator of reggaeton, rock and funk.

We cannot fail to mention Adriano DJ, one of the main exponents of urban music in Cuba, which will liven up the nights of the festival. During the first three days of this festival, from the 18th to the 20th, both inclusive, the Matanzas beach Tennis will be the stage where spectators can go to enjoy the music, dancing and gastronomic offers, while from the 22nd to the 25th in Josone Park, Varadero, you can fully enjoy concerts and other activities.

Nothing that, as the Festival motto says, “Let it Sound”, will surely sound a lot in this new and long-awaited meeting of Cuban music.
