Varadero will be the venue for the 39th COCAL congress

Varadero, considered last year by TripAdvisor the second-best beach in the world, will host the 39th Congress of the Federation of Congress Organizing Entities and Related Organizations of Latin America (COCAL), to be held from July 3 to 6.

The information was released this Tuesday by Pilar Álvarez, General Director of Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), who highlighted the importance of this meeting, which is being held in Cuba for the third time because it will strengthen the positioning of the destination as an entity prepared for the organization and celebration of congresses and meetings in the region, which constitutes a priority of the so-called industry without chimneys in the largest of the Antilles.

In turn, the general director of the Cubatur agency, an official receptive of the congress, Diana Olivera, considered that this event represents an important action aimed at highlighting Cuba as a MICE (business tourism, meetings, and incentives) segment in great demand in the real world. Created four decades ago, Cocal is a community that creates value in the meetings industry.
