A press release from Havanatur, issued today, cites information from the airline stating that the flights will depart directly from the city of Valencia in Carabobo State, Venezuela, to Havana, with an approximate duration of 3:30 hours.

Resulting from negotiations between the Alba Tours Agency and the Havanatur Group, the commencement of this air service will bring both destinations closer, offering the opportunity to discover Cuba with tourist packages that will allow travelers to explore Havana, Viñales, and Varadero for short stays, as well as other program options designed for longer vacations on the Island.

The inaugural flight was received at the air terminal by Yoelkis Salazar Rivery, General Director of Havanatur, along with executives from the tour operator.

On that first flight, a significant group of travel agents and press arrived to learn about products and destinations that will be marketed as part of the options that Cuba offers to the Venezuelan traveler.
