Wide participation in international conference in Cuba

The VI International Conference for the Balance of the World will have the participation of more than 900 foreign delegates from 93 countries, the organizers of the event reported.

In a press conference, the members of the Organizing Committee, Héctor Hernández and Eduardo Torres, assured that the list of registrations still in force, already exceeds the more than 600 guests from 89 nations of the previous edition, with personalities from the political, academic and cultural spheres at a global level.

“This forum of thought has become one of the largest and most representative at a global level, with the addition of international institutions and organizations,” Hernández assured.

This conference will be a space for debate, with commissions, forums, workshops and master conferences, led by relevant figures and foreign and Cuban organizations.

Among its new features will be a Congress of Poets, in defense of life, a panel dedicated to Puerto Rico, with the presence of Puerto Rican intellectuals, and the XXI Meeting of Martian Chairs, which has been held since the first Conference.

The call is aimed at the 172nd anniversary of the birth of the apostle José Martí, and the 130th anniversary of his death in combat. It also addresses the worsening of the global multidimensional crisis as a result of the covid-19 pandemic and the need to face the problems that affect humanity from the Martian ethics.

The VI International Conference For the Balance of the World With all and for the good of all “For Dialogue between Civilizations and For a Culture of Peace”, organized by the José Martí Solidarity Project, will take place at the Convention Center from January 28 to 31 and will be broadcast in real time on social networks.
