The 19th edition of the International Wine Feast returns to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba at the beginning of October to ratify the development of the island’s cuisine and its link to tourism. Spokespersons of that hotel facility, added that preparations are well advanced for that event, the most important of its kind in the country to take place from October 3 to 5.
The commercial specialist of the Nacional, Yanet Reyes de la Peña, said companies, enterprises and wineries such as UCSA Freixenet, Bodegas Torres, Duprasa and Havana Club International S.A., among others. The executive detailed the program of the event, whose main venue will be the Salon 1930, includes different activities linked to combinations of wines and habano cigars, tests, tasting, presentations and exhibitions by the entities of the sector. She advanced that on September 28 there will be a blind tasting at the Baracoa Hall of the same hotel, in which a group of sommeliers and specialists will evaluate different reds, whites, roses and sparkling wines, proposed by wineries participating in the Feast. For the 4th of October, there will be a demonstrative ideal combination between habanos and wines, in charge of the expert Fernando Fernandez, main host of sommeliers in Cuba.
