The Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association (GRPA), a leading provider of family planning services and sexual and reproductive health care in Guyana, reported the new possibilities it offers for the treatment of people with human immunodeficiency syndrome, which causes AIDS. A press release of the organization adds that the GRPA thus joins multiple healthcare entities in the country to become a site for HIV care and treatment with the support of the Ministry of Health -Secretariat of National Programs of AIDS (MOH/NAPS).
The information also shows the satisfaction GRPA means in supporting the Sustainable Development Goal of the World Health Organization with the purpose of eliminating the HIV/AIDS epidemic by 2030. He also announced that any person recently diagnosed and ready to start treatment and previously diagnosed with the disease could join his private and family clinic to access this treatment and other services, which can be done with or without an appointment.
